Lisieux is becoming one of the premier pilgrimage
places in the world, currently receiving more than two million pilgrims
a year and the number continues to grow. The city is well established
for receiving pilgrims, with a number of places related to the life of
St. Therese. The most prominent are the Carmelite convent, her home
(Les Buissonets), the cathedral, and the basilicia. Below is an information
